Was it just us or did January last forever? Now that we’re entering February, here are some things to do this weekend.
If you’re a fan of John, Paul, George and Ringo, head to Lone Star RoadHouse for A HARD Night’s Day, the Beatles tribute band. The tribute starts at 8 p.m. where you can hear the band faithfully recreate their songs down to the very last note. More info here.
Saturday morning wake up bright and early for the Too Cold To Hold half marathon at at Norbuck Park. After completing your run, enjoy music, food and beer. More info here.
At 12:30, head to the Hollywood Feed Store for the Street Dog Project Adoption Event. Stop by and meet some adorable pups or introduce yourself if you are interested in fostering or volunteering with the project. Find more info here.
Is your team playing this Sunday at the Super Bowl? Probably not, but it’s still an excuse to have fun. The Oak Highlands Brewery is throwing a Pot Luck Super Bowl Sunday. Bring your favorite dish and share with other neighbors. The game starts at 5:30, but be sure there to get there early for a spot to see either the Chiefs or the 49ers take home the win.
