Dallas police are searching this morning for the driver of a silver truck who shot another motorist on Greenville Avenue and sped away after a road rage incident. The encounter began about 4:45 a.m. north of LBJ and ended in a RaceTrac gas station south of the freeway, KXAS reports.

Police say the shooting victim, driving a white Toyota Camry, was sideswiped by the truck. When the truck didn’t stop, the Camry gave chase, and the truck driver reached outside the vehicle to shoot the other driver. The injured Camry driver was able to pull into the Racetrac at Greenville and Markville, where he was transported to a hospital. The victim was grazed by the bullet and will recover, officers said.
