A 52-year-old man died early Tuesday after his vehicle veered off the road and hit a tree near White Rock Lake, authorities said.
The crash happened at 6:30 a.m. in the 900 block of North Buckner Boulevard.
The driver, who has not been identified, was driving a Chevy Silverado when he lost control and started to spin, ABC affiliate WFAA reported.
The truck left the road and hit a tree on the driver’s side, Channel 8 reported. First responders were unable to detect any vital signs at the scene.
Witnesses told police the driver was speeding at the time of the crash.
