PHOTOS: LHHS organizations giving back to the community

Lake Highlands High School students in different organizations spent the past week giving back to the community. Here’s a look at what they did:

TOPS [Teens Offering Peer Support] kids visited VNA Meals on Wheels to help wrap holiday gifts.

LHHS cosmetology students visited Diversicare Healthcare Services provide residents with manicures and company. Students had a hard time saying goodbye and decided to visit once every six weeks.

Peer Helpers and Mediators prepared meals at Feed my Starving Children, a Christian non-profit organization that packages and distributes food to people in developing nations.
