North Texas Giving Day is upon us. The event organized by the Communities Foundation of Texas enables every neighbor to be a philanthropist by donating to local charities.
Last year, the event raised $48 million and benefited 2,700 nonprofits.
Although the event starts Thursday, you can schedule an online donation today.
Celebrate by giving online or attending a neighborhood party from 2-6 p.m. Thursday at Comercia Bank at Abrams Road. Mommies In Need and other neighborhood nonprofits will provide food, children’s activities, prizes and incentives to give.
