Coyotes, bobcats and other creatures great and small have been making frequent appearances in Lake Highlands of late, so now’s a great time to visit the Audelia Road Library and hear from City of Dallas Urban Biologist Brett Johnson.
Johnson, who was scheduled for his library chat long before a bobcat popped up on this writer’s fencetop and peeked into my home office window, will discuss ways coyotes and bobcats are adapting to urban life. He’ll present facts, dispel myths and share ways we can co-exist with the beautiful creatures.
The program takes place at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 11, and admission is free. The library is at 10045 Audelia Road.
