Sept. 21: Oak Highlands Brewery’s fifth annual Oktoberfest hosts a beer fun run at 11 a.m. to help burn a couple calories before indulging in German food and beer. Enjoy German music and a good cause because 10% of all sales will go to a local breast cancer charity.

Sept. 28: Everyone knows about Oktoberfest hosted by the Exchange Club of Lake Highlands, thousands of people from the Dallas area attend each year. They will feature some of the best local bands, plenty of fun for the kids and delicious restaurant offerings from brats to ice cream.
