Lake Highlands North Recreation Center
Lake Highlands North Recreation Center is one of five recreation centers working to keep teens occupied this summer.
TRec, short for teen recreation, is a program started by Dallas Parks and Recreation for teens ages 13 to 17. According to NBCDFW, the age group is in the critical developmental stage for positive decision making. TRec will offer free food, sports, video games, music, and fitness aimed at providing teens with a fun and educational time.
The program starts June 14 and ends August 25. It will take place on Fridays and Saturdays from 7-11 p.m.
