Sure, you’re Big Man (or Woman) on your corporate campus, but how’d you like to be looked up to (literally) by some outstanding (and appreciative) students at Richardson ISD’s Forest Lane Academy?

FLA counselor and Lake Highlands High grad Copeland Norcross is organizing the school’s annual Career Day for Tuesday, May 21 from 8:15 to 11:15 a.m., and he’s even letting me chat with the kids about community journalism. Whether you’re a chef, a business owner, a medical professional, a repairman, a financial guru, a first responder – whatever – the kids would love to hear from you about the big, wide world of opportunity.

Reach out to Cope at 469-593-1944 or Copeland.Norcross@risd.org or to assistant counselor Nova Young at Nova.Young@risd.org to volunteer.

Forest Lane Academy is on Forest Lane between LBJ and Audelia. You can read more about Forest Lane Academy here.
