Look: Photos from first Wildcat Block Party

Wranglers and future Wranglers

Students, families and teachers joined together in front of Lake Highlands High for the school’s first ever Wildcat Nation Block Party Tuesday night.

You may view my photos from the event here.

Performers included the cheerleaders, jazz band, drum line, Ballet Folklorico, Steppers, African Dance Team, Highlandettes and Wranglers, and student groups sold everything from t-shirts to tacos. In addition to fun and fellowship with old friends, the event was an opportunity for new-to-the-neighborhood families to see what the high school and the community have to offer.

The event included games and live music and is likely to be repeated next spring.
