Highlandettes and cheerleaders at the Fall Community Pep Rally

Teachers, club sponsors and the PTA at Lake Highlands High are busy planning the community’s first ever Wildcat Nation Block Party, set for Tuesday, March 26th from 5-7 p.m. in front of the main building. They’ve lined up family-friendly activities, including bowling, a bean bag toss, dancing and video games, and they’ll have a live DJ and LHHS performers, including the Wranglers, Steppers, African Dance Team, Ballet Folklorico, Drum Line, Highlandettes and Cheerleaders, for entertainment. A taco truck and snow cone stand will keep attendees fed, and the Exchange Club, Wildcat Club and Wild for Cats academic boosters will be on hand to help out.

Attendance for the community block party is free, but $10 tickets for unlimited tacos benefit the PTA and must be pre-purchased during school lunches this week or online here. Fundraising for other groups (drinks, snow cones) will be occurring on site. Go Cats!
