Later, Brown returned to drive the SUV out of the lawn, but he seemed to be stuck, according to the Morning News. He told officers that he swerved because of an “unknown object,” had two-and-a-half beers and had come from a Stars game. He said he was headed to 7-Eleven.

Officers noticed Brown had bloodshot eyes, his breath smelled like alcohol and and he was stumbling. After failing field sobriety tests, he was arrested and taken to Rowlett jail, where he later posted bond.

The Dallas Police Department is conducting an internal affairs investigation.
