No. 5, though, became a debate among some neighbors. We included a cheer one reader remembers from the ’80s:
Yelling “red red red red, white white white white white white white” isn’t all that weird.
As the Lake Highlands High cheer goes, “What about? What about? What about that Wildcat shout?”
Evidently, there are several versions of this cheer, including “How about? How about? How about that color shout?” and “What about? What about? What about our color shout?”
In any case, Lake Highlands takes these things seriously, and we want to set the record straight. What version of the cheer do you remember, and what years did you attend the high school?
