Alan Selzer named Academic All-Big Ten at Michigan

Lake Highlands High 2016 graduate Alan Selzer hasn’t seen game action yet as back up kicker for the University of Michigan football team, but he’s made a big impression in the classroom. The sports management major was named to the Academic All-Big Ten yesterday.

Alan earned the nickname “Sniper” Selzer from his Wolverine teammates for his deadly accuracy and to distinguish him from Carter Selzer, a tight end from Kansas City. He hasn’t spent all his spare time in the library studying – he was chosen to lead tours of campus and elected fraternity social chair and risk manager.

Congratulations Alan.
