Seriously, let’s save the pelicans

We don’t know exactly where they came from, but the pelicans have arrived at their winter home, White Rock Lake.

There seems to be a few more than usual this year. (Maybe they’re migrating from Los Angeles and Chicago, like everyone else.)

Pelicans have the unfortunate tendency to land in the street and on cars. Keep an eye out, so people like Sophia don’t have to dodge traffic to save them.
