Attending a meeting at the end of a busy day may not be enticing. But about 28.3 percent of your property taxes are paid to the City of Dallas, which plans to spend about $805.3 million on public safety, $145.6 million on infrastructure and $20 million on social needs, including $2.3 million on reducing homelessness.
