Bring the family for games, face painting, music and an egg hunt at the Knights of Columbus Easter Party. The festivities begin Sunday at 3 p.m.

Celebrate Easter the Czech way at Sokol Dallas’s Easter Market. The market features food and craft items. Activities will be happening throughout the morning including egg decorating, an egg hunt, pomlazka making, gingerbread decorating and a floral arrangement workshop.

Take your family to the eggstra-special egg hunt at Lake Highlands Family YMCA on Saturday for their BEEP event. Special Easter eggs that beep at different frequencies allow visually impaired kids to hunt eggs alongside their sighted siblings.

Bring your partner (or fly solo) to Dine n’ dance at the Art Institute of Dallas. Participate in a one-hour salsa class then finish off the night with social dancing and a formal dinner.

See the world premier of Yana Wana’s “Legend of the Bluebonnet” at Dallas Children’s Theater. After the show — talk with a panel of indigenous leaders to learn how their family traditions teach love and respect. The panel will share examples of cultural practices that strengthen values and increase quality of life for indigenous and non-indigenous people.
