Formerly home to countless frozen margaritas, spilled queso and a cast of regulars; the bar at Taco Joint Lake Highlands is gone. Drinks at the neighborhood Tex-Mex spot will still be available at the register, but there will be no specific bar seating.
This move is consistent with the company’s recent trajectory. Taco Joint opened new locations in Plano, Wylie, Frisco and Addison, all of which were built without a bar. The only remaining physical Taco Joint bar is at their Lakewood location on Mockingbird Ln.
