LHWL’s Lisa Sides and Kathy Stewart deliver a check to Zach Garza of Forerunner Mentoring

Could you use some cash for your community project or college tuition?

The Lake Highlands Women’s League and the Exchange Club have had bang-up fundraising years, and with their Holiday in the Highlands home tour and Oktoberfest events behind them, the groups are encouraging Lake Highlands nonprofit organizations and Wildcat graduating seniors to apply to receive funds.

You can download LHWL’s grant request form here, due March 9, and ECLH’s contribution request form here, due March 1.

LHWL and ECLH members are already beginning the process of speaking to Wildcat seniors about the scholarship application process and explaining their criteria and the application and interview process. Applications are due March 1.

Millions have been given away by the Women’s League and the Exchange Club, with untold volunteer service hours multiplying the effect those dollars have had in the community.

You can read about last year’s scholarship recipients here and here.
