Sneak your little one in to see Santa before the big day. Jolly St. Nick will be hanging out, taking photos at Rooster Home and Hardware on Saturday from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. There is no charge to attend, but parents will need to snap their own photos so bring a camera.

  • Highland Oaks Church of Christ kicks off the Christmas Eve celebrations with a childrens Prayer Walk on Sunday from 8:30-10 a.m. The walk includes six stations with a special prayer for the season.

  • Dallas Assembly of God Church will host a Christmas Eve Communion service from 10 a.m.-noon.

For those looking to give back, myKIDSdds is collecting food for families in need on Thursday. Bring non-perishable donations to the office at 8325 Walnut Hill Lane any time from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
