Hannah Hargrove’s new show debuts this Sunday

If you’ve been in mourning since Chip and Joanna Gaines announced this season will be the last for HGTV’s Fixer Upper, Lake Highlands High School alum Hannah Hargrove says she’s got you fixed up. The 2007 grad will be featured in a new show, Texas Homewreckers, set to premiere on the GAC (Great American Country) network this Sunday, Oct. 22 at noon.

Hargrove inherited the family business, Orr-Reed Wrecking, when her father, John, was killed in a bar fight in 2013. She’d been out of college a year and was pitching in around the place, but taking the call about her father’s death – and taking the challenge to run the business her own way – turned her life and the business around.

Today’s Orr Reed, the oldest salvage yard in Texas, is known for antique wood flooring, ceiling tins, thick wood molding, stained glass and other architectural elements you won’t find at Home Depot.

“Watch me and my amazing crew deconstruct a home, repurpose Dallas history and fulfill a customer’s lifelong dreams,” says Hargrove on social media. “When my father was murdered five years ago, the responsibility to keep my father’s legacy alive fell on my shoulders. With the help of my mom, siblings and staff, we are keeping it going, one demolition at a time.”

Spectrum Cable shows GAC on channel 147 in Dallas.
