Wildcat Stadium on June 1 – stripped to the sublayer
Been wondering what’s going on at Wildcat Stadium?
Workers are busy replacing the artificial turf, pulling up the old product and refreshing the sublayer.
Richardson ISD is replacing turf at all 4 high schools, including Eagle-Mustang Stadium at Richardson High, Berkner’s B Field and Pearce’s B Field, but the project at LHHS needs to be finished first since we’ll be hosting Drum Corps International (DCI) in the stadium in July.
You can check out the new Pure Artificial Grass when the Wildcats play a scrimmage against McKinney Boyd at 7 p.m. August 25th. Our first official home game is the next Friday against Mesquite. The full LHHS football schedule is available here.
