Bluecoats perform at Drum Corps International
Drum Corps International will host their annual competition and show Monday, July 24th at Wildcat Stadium. The cross country tour, often called “Marching Music’s Major League,” kicks off in Indianapolis June 22 and finishes there August 12 with the World Finals.

Though the LH event is 6 weeks away, it often sells out, drawing neighborhood fans and others who travel here to see the spectacle. Ten groups of 150 college and high school musicians and percussionists plus guard will perform their complex and visually stunning routines.
You can buy your tickets online here, and/or wait to see the (often shirtless) teams practicing in the hot sun in various fields and parking lots around LH in the day or two before competition.
The box office opens at 3 p.m. and the show runs from 7-10:30.
