Dr. Joshua Delich
The Lake Highlands High School PTA is hosting a Community Meet & Greet to welcome Dr. Joshua Delich, the school’s new principal. Whether your kids will be starting school on August 21, yours (like mine) have long-graduated or you’re simply a tax-paying citizen that understands “as goes LHHS, so goes the neighborhood,” Dr. Delich wants to hear from you.
Delich, who spoke with me in June just after he was hired, said he is open to input from “students, parents, teachers, community members, school custodians – anybody who wants what’s best for Lake Highlands. It’s about the kids.” He added, “Students will see that they can confide in me, but I’m also a person who will push and challenge them.”

The Meet and Greet will be held in the LHHS library from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 9th, with Delich speaking about himself and his vision for LHHS at 6.
