Saturday, June 3, at 8 a.m. runners embark on a sweaty four-mile race at White Rock Lake’s Winfrey Point. The event is free for Dallas Running Club members and $10 for nonmembers. Sign up by midnight online of before 7:30 a.m. on race day. 950 E. Lawther.

Sunday, June 4, the whole neighborhood is invited to the Feed Lake Highlands birthday party. The nonprofit group that provides food to local families in need celebrates five years, from 1-3 p.m., featuring cake, hot dogs, bounce house, games, crafts and face painting. It takes place at the New Room community center, 10061 Whitehurst.
June 4, Sundays in the Park at Lake Highlands Town Center continues with food, music and live entertainment, brought to us by Lake Highlands Public Improvement District and Adam McGough, Dallas City Council D10. It’s from 5-7 p.m. at Walnut Hill and Skillman.
