Six months after construction began, Costco is opening on Coit at Churchill, just west of our neighborhood.

The 150,437-square-foot store expects its first customers Thursday, May 11.
The Washington-based company received $3 million in economic development funds from the city of Dallas to purchase the property (outlined in above links), which costs $16 million total. The Texas Department of Transportation previously owned the 13-acre tract of land.
Costco estimates it will bring 225 jobs to the area.
