Lake Highlands High School 2006 graduate Jeff Jenneman was killed Sunday morning when the car he was riding in crashed. The driver was arrested for intoxication manslaughter.

According to a story on WFAA.com, Carlos Izzagerra was speeding at 7 a.m. in the 6100 block Belt Line Road near Preston Road when his westbound Honda CRV left the roadway, crossed the eastbound lanes and hit a tree head-on. Jenneman was riding in the front passenger seat. No other vehicles were involved.

While a student at LHHS, Jenneman was a Bell Boy and a member of Student Council. He and wife, Anna, have a young daughter.
