Sirens rang out across the northern part of Lake Highlands around sunrise Wednesday. A private school bus traveling to Richland Academy Learning Center, located at Walnut Street and Audelia near Richland College, collided with a Pontiac.
No one in either vehicle was injured. Dallas Fire Rescue and ambulances responded to the scene just after 6:30 a.m.
Police are looking into what caused the crash, reports CBS DFW, but we know from past coverage that this — the Skillman-Audelia interchange over I-635, is a perilous, accident-prone area that many residents, advocates, officials and entities are working to fix.
