Suspect robbing the 7-11 on Walnut. The same man, police believe, was inside the store hours earlier.
In the wee morning hours last Saturday, a guy wearing a red bandana over his face and a white cap on his head entered the 7-11 at the corner of Walnut and Audelia, aimed a pistol-grip shotgun at the clerk’s face and demanded the contents of the cash register along with a carton of Newport cigarettes.
And while the man covered his face for the actual robbery, police believe he was in the store three hours earlier, at which time his mug was fairly clearly captured on surveillance camera.
Images show a man of the same build, wearing the exact same clothing, walking around the store sans the bandana or hat.
This is a black male, 18-25 years old, about 5 foot 3 inches tall, weighing 130-150 pounds, wearing black pants and black-and-white, vertically striped shirt under a dark, zip-up jacket.
