Police are searching for three suspects responsible for the shooting in the leg of a female employee Saturday at 11:15 p.m. outside the Sonic at Audelia and Royal Lane Saturday. Here is what detectives have put together so far:
“Two black male suspects approached a female Sonic Drive-in employee as she swept the parking lot at 10708 Audelia Road. One of the suspects pointed a handgun at the employee and demanded money. When the victim said that she did not have any money, one of the suspects threw her to the ground and then shot her in the leg causing serious injury. A third black male suspect stood at the rear of the building acting as a look out.”

Today they released surveillance video that they believe shows the men who committed the crime. They are seeking public assistance in identifying the men in this video.
They describe one of the suspects as, “black male 16-20 years old wearing a blue hoodie, black or dark blue Adidas pants with a white stripe down the outside of both legs, and black tennis shoes with white soles. The white stripe on the Adidas pants reflects multiple colors when exposed to white light.”
