First Crossroads, now Cedars.
Cedars Mediterranean Mezza & Grill, on Walnut Hill near Central Expressway, closed Saturday. The popular restaurant, known for its buffet with heart healthy and vegan options, served its final customers Friday night. The building has been a Houston’s, an Earl’s Bistro (and a few things in between).
Owner Nabil Dimassi told Dallas Morning News that a new location “in the same area” is being sought. Cedars’ locations downtown and in Plano will remain open, Dimassi said.
Cypress Equities has plans to redevelop the 16-acre Corner Shopping Center and rename it The Hill. Austin-based TreeHouse, a home improvement retailer featuring sustainable construction materials, will serve as anchor tenant.
