Bring the whole family for the funny musical “Bells Are Ringing,” about a phone-line operator and the intriguing characters she meets. ACT’s (Artists of Christian Talent) 41st production “Bells Are Ringing” features more than 50 youth from LHUMC and our community. Opening night is Friday. Evening shows are Feb. 12, 13, 18 and 19 at 7:30 p.m., and there’s a Sunday matinee at 2 on Feb. 14. Tickets are $10 each and available by emailing Sara Orr at lhumcacttickets@gmail.com. Love is in the air Saturday, Feb. 13 when the Lupners take the stage at Lonestar Roadhouse for their Valentine’s Show. Band members Stuart Sides, Bill Maselunas, Charlie Jilek, Tim Bird and Gary Krumbholz, who say their repertoire spans everything from early Beatles to Maroon 5, will serenade your sweetie and get you on the dance floor.Lonestar Roadhouse is located at the northwest corner of Northwest Highway and Jupiter. Luck be a lady Saturday night, Feb 13, as Las Vegas meets Dallas at The Exchange Club Lake Highlands’ casino night. The dress code is “upscale western” but the theme is “casino.” Try your hand at blackjack, participate in a wine pull, munch on food or simply sit back and enjoy some live music.
