If you’re daughter’s idea fun is doing twirls and leaps on stage, if she learned to count by repeating “5, 6, 7, 8,” if she knew, by the time she was 5, not to move until the music starts – she may just be ready for Dancing With the Dettes.
The Lake Highlands High School Highlandettes will present a community dance clinic for girls in grades K-8 on Monday, February 15th (Presidents’ Day) from 9-3 at LHHS. A snack and pizza lunch will be provided. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and dance shoes or tennis shoes. Parents will enjoy a “show-off” beginning at 2:30.
Attendees are invited to perform at the Highlandette Revue, to be held April 22 and 23 in the LHHS auditorium. Girls will be loaned a special costume to wear during their stage performance. The cost is $65 and forms are available by emailing Dette Mom Bitsy Fletcher at bitsyif@sbcglobal.net.
