Crossroads dining room in North Dallas

If you haven’t had your fill of Crossroads Diner’s sticky buns and buttermilk pancakes, you’d better get cracking. Chef-owner Tom Fleming and his staff are preparing to move into their new shop in North Dallas, and they’ve finally announced their last day at Walnut Hill and Central – Sunday, January 24th.

Their new Preston Trail Village location at Preston and Campbell won’t open until February 9th, but the space will be larger and remodeled all the way down to bare concrete floors.

“Our new digs will have a state of the art kitchen,” says Fleming on his blog, “two private rooms and a dining space big enough to seat over 200 people at one time. It will all be located on one level, making it an ideal spot to rent out in the evenings for weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs and other special events. There is also plenty of available parking outside.”

A rent increase by new owner Cypress Equities forced the move, says Fleming. The buyer has redevelopment plans for the center, Fleming adds. Fleming opened the first Crossroads in 2010.
