Sophomore Ja’Lynn Sidney shared Offensive Newcomer of the Year honors with RHS’ Jarek Broussard. And first-year coach Lonnie Jordan was named Coach of the Year.

Also receiving top honors were Khalil Lacy, RHS, Offensive Player of the Year; Troy Tubby, J.J. Pearce, and Desmond Norton, Berkner, Co-Defensive Newcomers of the Year; and Tanner Lange, Berkner, Special Teams Player of the Year.

Rounding out the All City team were offensive linemen William Armer, Hunter Ghoreishi and Sam Sprayberry, wide receivers Blake Cronin and Romel Price, running back Octavian Warren, place kicker Allan Selzer, defensive linemen Sam Haster, Arthur Anderson and Trumane Bell, linebackers Josh Lee and Jeremiah Mendez and defensive backs Michael Valdez and LaQuantis Davis.

“We are very proud of these young men for the time, effort and sacrifice they have made for their teams and their communities,” said Jordan.

The recipients will be honored at their annual football banquet in January.
