The Dallas Police Department just released new information about the NorthPark shooting, which took place Nov. 15 and resulted in no known injuries.
The off-duty police officer who fired shots at a silver Ford Taurus containing suspected shoplifters is named Kevin Hayden. He’s been with the SouthCentral Patrol Division for 4 years and 2 months.
“[Hayden] has been placed on routine administrative leave per policy,” a police spokesperson says. “We will provide additional information as it becomes available and appropriate for release.”
We also now have still photos of two of the three suspected shoplifters, which you can view above. All three suspects are described as black females between the ages of 20 and 30 years old. If you have information regarding any of their identities, call Dallas police at 214.671.3584.
