It’s holiday season at the Dallas Arboretum — that magical time of year when special decorations and special guests (“ho ho ho”) start appearing at the gardens. The 12 Days of Christmas exhibit runs through Jan. 3. (The Artistry of the Nativity opens Nov. 27).

Meet Duck Dynasty’s Sadie Robertson this Friday at NorthPark Center. The reality TV star will be at Nordstrom’s from 5 – 7 p.m. promoting the line of galoshes she designed for Roma Boots. Into chic gifts that give back? For every pair of shoes sold, Roma Boots donates a pair filled with school supplies to a child in need. Click here to learn more about the company, which is headquartered at The Shops at Park Lane.

“Miracle on 34th Street” premieres Nov. 20 at Dallas Children’s Theater at 5938 Skillman. This play by Valentine Davies is based on the classic 1947 holiday film. Visit dct.org or call 214.978.0110 for more. Tickets are $15-$28.

Start your holiday shopping early and find one-of-a-kind gifts and goodies at Friends of the Bath House Cultural Center’s annual Art Mart, Nov. 20-21. More than fifty local and regional visual artists fill up the galleries, lobby, theater, and even the building’s front porch with a wonderful variety of paintings, photographs, pottery, sculpture, fiber arts, ceramics, jewelry and other one-of-a-kind wares, organizers tell us. Proceeds benefit the Friends of the Bath House, which supports year-round visual and performing arts programs at the center.
