“All the cheerleaders think Healing Hands is a great charity,” said senior squad member Lizzie Bonahoom, “and it is very satisfying to know that funds from red out shirt sales go back to a charity like Healing Hands, which works to improve lives in Lake Highlands. We are extremely grateful to Herb’s Paint and Body and the Walne family for providing us with the red out shirts to raise money for our charity donation.”

Herb’s has donated t-shirts for as far back as anyone can remember, including last year’s fundraiser in memory of band member Jack Stewart and 2013’s, to fight Leukemia, in honor of Beth Lyons.

“We perform at a Healing Hands event every year,” continued Lizzie, who hopes to major in international business at UT next fall, “and we feel that their cause is an important one, so it felt natural and right to choose them.”
