Highlandette garage sale 2014

The Highlandettes are counting on a super-duper, mega-jumbo garage sale this month, so they’re hoping you’ll dig through every closet in search of gently-used treasures you’re willing to donate. They need the extra funds for the extra-special spring break trip they have planned for the entire team. They’ve been invited to Italy, where they are expected to perform in 4 cities over 8 days.

The drill team’s annual sale features furniture, housewares, electronics, sporting goods, and, of course, with this many glam young women and their moms, lots of handbags, jewelry, shoes and clothing.

The sale will be held Saturday, August 22nd from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Lake Highlands High School gym. You may shop early on Friday from 8-10 p.m. for a $5 donation – a bargain for first access to donations from the 50+ team members plus community contributors.

If you’re ready to arrange for a pick up, contact team moms Carolyn Brunkenhoefer at cbrunk1@sbcglobal.net or Lee Ann Hamm at leeannhamm1@gmail.com.
