The Lake Highlands Exchange Club hosted their annual Fourth of July Parade Saturday, and, just as LH is exploding in growth with young families, the parade and carnival were bursting at the seams with multiple generations of onlookers.

Children traveled the route on decorated bikes, trikes and motorized vehicles, Lake Highlands High School spirit groups waved to the crowd in their red and white, and church groups threw candy from adorned floats.

I can’t wait for next year.
