Wallace Elementary PTA moms are busy this week, preparing to host their 4th annual Spring Market. The committee has recruited several new vendors, and they’ve persuaded the most popular merchants to return.
The Craftiest Creations, owned by former Wallace mom Anglea Hulick, offers original and custom applique and embroidery clothing, baby items, embellished overalls and monograms.
Vivi Jewelry and Accessories for Fun, owned by Lisa Tapper of Hurst, includes purses, sunglasses scarves and caps. One of her most popular items is the wine purse, an insulated clutch for the girl on the go.
Cupcake Scenesations, by Laura J. Tapper of Dallas, creates treat kit boxes to display your cupcakes or treats in one-of-a-kind style. Themes include sports, barnyard, school days and more.
ArtNuggets, by Suvarma Dahadghav of Frisco, features hand painted rocks, ethnic jewelry and handcrafted beaded jewelry.
Younique and Jeunesse, owned by Cathy Kelley of Sachse, features 3D mascara and cosmetics including Instantly Ageless.
Nana’s Soap Box, by Kathy Dagen of Dallas, offers specialty bar soaps, bath crystals, salt scrubs and more.
V’s Vanity, presented by Vanessa Valenzuela of Arlington, features jewelry and accessories.
Returning vendors include Southern Initials (embroidered items), DCH Creations (pens, bowls), Jonna’s Custom Creations (jewelry and crosses), Origami Owl (lockets and charms), Tag a Bag and More (custom tags), Thirty One (bags) and Tupperware.
The market was started by Wallace mom and vendor, Jennifer Arthur, who will be on hand with her women’s clothing booth, Graciella.
Wallace’s Spring Market will be held Saturday, April 11 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Wallace Elementary, 9921 Kirkhaven. The PTA will offer a silent auction, local entertainment, children’s activities and food truck lunch options. They’ll offer document shredding services from 11-1 ($10 for the first box and $5 for additional boxes), plus free recycling for electronics and other items from 10-1. Admission is free.
