Update at 10:23 a.m.: Duekorie was seen at approximately 5:00 p.m. Monday in the Audelia/Walnut Hill area. Dallas Police continue their active search and Richardson ISD is assisting. Call 911 or 214-671-4268 if you have info.

Dallas Police are asking for help from the Lake Highlands community as they search for a missing boy. Duekorie Carter-McKinney is 12 years old and a student at Northlake Elementary. He was last seen Monday at 3:15 p.m., just after school let out, at the Audelia Road Public Library next door to the school.

Duekorie is described by police as black, 5 feet 7 inches tall and 145 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jeans with a green collared shirt and a green and blue hooded sweatshirt.

Duekorie is an insulin-dependent diabetic needing multiple shots per day, so time is of the essence. If you recall seeing Duekorie or if you have information about his disappearance, police ask you to call 911 or 214-671-4268.
