Lake Highlands High School will begin the year with a new head principal.

Peggy Dillon, who has served in the job for four years, announced yesterday via robocall to LHHS parents that she will move to the Richardson ISD administration building to become Executive Director of High Schools. She officially begins her new job in July.

Dillon did not say, and the RISD has not yet announced, who will take her place. After Dr. Bob Iden’s retirement in 2008, Walter Kelly then Dillon were both hired from inside RISD’s ranks of junior high principals. Forest Meadow’s Charles Bruner just completely his first year as Richardson High’s principal.
