As the season of sauna-like days draws nigh, Makers Connect — the newly opened business that’s all about helping local artists network, teach others, and sell their creations — has announced that it will offer a series of workshops to keep us grown-up crafters (or wannabe crafters) occupied too.

These aren’t some boring paint-by-numbers classes either. There’s a workshop for re-purposing your busted baubles into one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry, a terrarium making class for showcasing funky rock/succulent arrangements, and a Frida-inspired flowered head wreath designing tutorial, to name a few.

Classes will be held between June 10 and July 18. There will likely be a few more announced in the weeks ahead as well, so stay tuned.

Cost is $25-$50 per class and advance registration is required; sign up online here.
