Jake dancing horizJake Gaba has done it again.

Lake Highlands’ favorite moviemaker and creator of the viral “dancing across China” video is determined to get you out of your seat. This time Jake, a 2012 LHHS grad, and Dartmouth University buddies Yesuto Shaw and Jeremy Thibodeau took to their campus to create a video to the popular Pharrell song, “Happy.”

You can watch the video here below, including, says Jake, “more than 100 students, a couple professors, and even a horse named Brutus.”

With Dartmouth receiving national negative exposure about sexual assault, hazing and the Greek system (one national fraternity recently announced plans to ban pledgeship altogether), Jake, a fraternity member, wanted to produce something uplifting.

“I created this video to counter the negative press and show a more positive side of Dartmouth,” Jake told me. “In a single day it has already received over 30,000 views on Youtube. Our main goal was to spread happiness around Dartmouth, and we figured what better way to do that than to make a video of people smiling, dancing and having fun. Smiles beget smiles.”
