Over 800 monarch butterflies will be released to commemorate the lives of lost loved ones from 2-4 p.m. this Sunday at Presbyterian Village North assisted living facility.
The seventh annual butterfly release and memorial service, hosted by Faith Presbyterian Hospice, is an opportunity for the Lake Highlands community to come together and honor the lives of loved ones that have passed. Each person who attends the free event will receive a butterfly to release. Younger children will also be encouraged to process their grief by participating in kid-friendly crafts.
