It won’t be just bunnies, chicks and baby ducks at the family Easter celebration at Lake Highlands United Methodist Church Saturday. This year’s Easter Eggstravaganza will feature a live petting zoo with pot-bellied piglets, dwarf goats and a llama.
The church’s traditional family fellowship event, open to the entire community, will also include crafts, cookie-decorating and an Easter egg hunt. (Children are encouraged to bring a basket for egg collection.)
The party is free and lasts from 10 a.m. to noon April 19. LHUMC is located at 9015 Plano Road.
