1979 Senior Show

Lake Highlands High School is preparing to celebrate its 50th year, and they’re hoping those of you who attended or taught at the school will pull out your old memorabilia to share for their big celebration. A committee has been formed, and they’re planning a party for March 23, from 1:30 to 5 at LHHS.

Already, as word has spread on Facebook about the big day, alums and LH parents have been digging out scrapbooks posting old photos online. Wildcat yearbook sponsor Allison Conger is collecting submissions now, and she’ll create a 16-page memory book which can be purchased at the event. You can email digital images to Conger at lhwildcatyearbook@yahoo.com and you can upload them and/or add your written remembrances to the official Facebook page here.

“All alumnae are encouraged to have their class represented with stories and images in this wonderful collection,” say organizers. “We need the participation of the entire LHHS community to make it a great representation of the rich history of the last 50 years.”

Individual graduating classes are encouraged to gather during the celebration, and the committee will arrange a classroom to be available for hospitality. Food and (school-appropriate) drinks may be brought in, along with decorations and memorabilia from the class. Click here to submit a request.
