Another casualtyof ice insanity 2013 was the annual Lake Highlands High School holiday choir concert. Scheduled for last Friday, it was, like most everything else, canceled.
Lo, though, hark the herald angels sing—the show has been reset for this Friday, tomorrow, Dec. 11.
Choir director Kari Gilbertson was determined to hold the show, so they picked the least inconvenient day.
“We are truly heartsick that there will be members of our choir family who can’t be there with us because of previously scheduled obligations, but it would also be sad to not perform the music that we have spent so long to learn and perform,” she noted to choir students and parents via email.
The show is at 7:30 in the auditorium, free, and features performances by the men’s and women’s choirs, Espree pop choir, a cappella choir, and the ever-popular parent choir.
