Mitchell Henton and Janie Tekell from Media Day 2010

Since Lake Highlands High School is the center of Lake Highlands, and football under Friday night lights is the center of LH activities, Wildcat football parents are busy organizing a fun community event this Friday night to kick off the football season. Picture Night, formerly known as Media Day, will now be held at a reasonable hour (praise God) and will welcome LH families into the Boneyard and onto the turf to see get the true Wildcat experience.

Kids of all ages will meet the 2013-14 LHHS football team, cheerleaders and Bell Boys, and they can have their photo made with whomever they’d like (bring your own camera). The inflatable Wildcat tunnel will be available for run-throughs and pics, and the Clawset (closet, get it?) will be available to purchase all things red, white and black.

The newest twist will be food trucks, and the Wildcat Club is doin’ it up right. Jo Dawgs will serve their gourmet hotdogs, polish sausage, links and bratwurst, and Kona Ice will serve up shaved ice extraordinaire (dude, you gotta try the orange dreamsicle).
